The camping pitches
151 pitches, shaded, sunny, or partially shaded, spread over 6 hectares.
Our pitches, ranging from 80 to 150 square meters, almost all have an electrical connection of 6 or 10 amps.
Comfortable pitches are available, with a connection to running water and sewage directly on the pitch.
Choosing a pitch at Détente et Clapotis means enjoying a 4-star comfort level that nearby 2 and 3-star campsites simply cannot offer. For the price of a pitch, you have access to the heated indoor swimming pool open throughout the season, to the wellness area with jacuzzi and sauna, to the private lakeside beach on Lake Paladru and to the Clapotins kids club for children aged 0 to 12.
For dining, our restaurant is open during the high season; in April-May and September, local food trucks pop up on site to keep the holiday spirit going throughout the shoulder seasons.
CHECK-IN is available from 3pm in low season and from 12pm in July-August.
CHECK-OUT before 12pm. You can still enjoy the campsite until 6pm (besides the pool in high season).
Please provide a European standard adapter (IP44).
Pets allowed (extra cost). Please note that the beach and swimming are not accessible to them.
At your disposal :
- Washing machines and dryer in the main restroom facilities,
- A communal barbecue is available for self-service.
- Refrigirator rentals are available (in a dedicated room next to the reception area, refrigerators cannot be moved to individual pitches)
There are 5 restroom blocks available on the campsite, equipped with toilets, hot showers, sinks, and dishwashing basins.
The motorhome area
A dedicated motorhome area inside the campsite, at €8 per night with electricity (10 amp) included, for travellers who just want to spend the night without accessing the campsite facilities (pool, beach, sanitary blocks not included).

Rather than a motorway stop, pitch your tent, van or caravan by Lake Paladru for a calm overnight at 35 min from Grenoble and 1 h from Lyon. A true nature pause instead of a transit halt.
